Vijay’s Villu was announced as Singam and later the name changed as, director Hari already registered that name for his film. It made some confusion and lot of gossips in Tamil industry.
Earlier when Vijay planned to take up the name Puli it also got hijacked. Poor Vijay is looking for a comeback with his next film Vettaikaran.

After his films Vaaranam Aayiram and Ayan, Suriya is teaming up with Hari to don a police officer for his 25th film.
Story of Singam revolves around smuggling activities taking place in Rameshwaram. Suriya plays a cop after Khaaka Khaaka and the film is expected to have the right mix of sentiments and comedy like all Hari films.
